Thanks For your SUpport!
Do you know what it takes to run a volunteer fire department? Did you know that, nationally, 70% of fire departments are volunteers, but that number exceeds 90% in West Virginia?
The turnout gear that Capon Springs Volunteer Fire and Rescue (CSVFR) needs to purchase for a new firefighter costs approximately $5,000. However, the overall investment in all the necessary gear and life safety devices is much higher. Equipping a firefighter with essential life safety equipment can cost thousands of dollars more.
We aim to raise awareness about the costs associated with this critical service and inform others about the ease of donating. Our goal is to collect enough donations to cover the cost gear for one firefighter.
Please support our fundraising efforts for CSVFR to ensure safe and effective operations. Every contribution makes a difference! You can donate in person, mail a check, or online here: https://caponspringsvfr.org/fundraisers/donate/
